Short version for a quick impression:
Quietly situated in the green, yet "right in the middle of it". Here you can relax and explore the Spreewald individually. The holiday home is designed for 4 persons, but two other guests can stay overnight on the sofa bed in the living room.
In the 2 bedrooms you can spend relaxing nights in boxspring double beds. In addition, both bedrooms and the living room have sufficient storage space for your belongings. In both bedrooms a hardwood floor is laid (Spanish walnut) and in one bedroom a clay wall provides a pleasant room climate. ATTENTION: Room height in the bedrooms is only 2.00 / 2.07 m (nothing for " tall ones").
The bathroom has a washbasin, WC, bathtub and shower.
In the kitchen you have a stove, dishwasher and fridge-freezer. Sufficient cutlery and crockery are available, you can feel at home here.
The living room is very spacious and has a seating area and a chilly couch area for relaxing (and after conversion into a sofa bed also for staying overnight). Large-screen TV with BluRay player and satellite TV is also available. Laminate flooring is laid in the living room.
From the living room you have access to a roofed terrace, where lounge furniture invites you to relax and sit together. Besides the terrace, the courtyard of your holiday home also has a barbecue area and a smoking area. In the house and on the terrace you have access to free WLAN.
Parking is available in front of the property, a car can also be parked next to the house in a lockable driveway. Bicycles can be "parked" in a lockable shed on the property.
There are shopping facilities within walking distance of the house: Discounter Lidl, Bakery Dreißig (also open on Sundays) and drugstore Rossmann.
The holiday home has been available to guests since July 2018 after a complete and loving renovation and can be rented all year round. In winter the house is completely heated by district heating system. The green power supplier EWS Schönau was chosen as the electricity provider.

Long version for the perfect holiday mood:
Welcome to the Spreewaldhaus in Lübben, your new "temporary home". The holiday home is designed for 4 persons, 2 more persons can sleep on the sofa bed in the living room. The complete house was completely renovated and newly equipped in 2018 and has been available as a holiday home all year round since July 2018 (heated by district heating system in winter). The bedrooms are only 2.00 and 2.07 m high (not suitable for tall people), all other rooms are higher.
Just close your eyes for a moment and imagine your holiday in our holiday home (but open again right away, otherwise you won't be able to read on):
After your arrival you can park your car(s) opposite the property (one can be parked to the side of the house in a lockable driveway). Bicycles brought along can be stored in the lockable shed. You can then unpack your personal belongings in the cabinets in the rooms. If you arrive on a working day, you can buy food in the Lidl discount store (300m), which is within walking distance, and any cosmetics you may still need at the Rossmann drugstore (200m).
After the long drive you can relax on the lounge furniture on the roofed terrace or in the living room on the couch. The house also has a spacious fenced and planted property where children can romp around.
Dinner can be prepared in the well-equipped kitchen, which has a stove, microwave, dishwasher and a fridge-freezer as well as sufficient dishes and cutlery. For the place of eating the delicious and freshly prepared evening meal you have the agony of choice: a corner bench group in the kitchen, a round table in the large living room or in the mild evening sun on the terrace.
You can end the evening on the terrace or relax on the corner couch (or watch TV on the large-screen TV with Bluray player). Friends of the Internet can also use free WLAN in the house and on the terrace.
Before going to bed you will find the bathroom with shower and bathtub, of course there is also a toilet and a washbasin. A small trolley is available as a shelf for the beauty case, which can then be positioned freely in the bathroom as desired.
Now you can devote all your time to sleep: Two bedrooms are available for this purpose. To the left of a small hallway is a 160 cm box-spring double bed, a smaller wardrobe and a 32 inch TV (if you want to watch TV before falling asleep). To the right of the small corridor is a 180 cm wide box spring double bed and a larger sliding door cabinet. In addition, a clay wall in this room provides a pleasant room climate, you will sleep relaxed for a long time. Both rooms are laid out with a hardwood floor made of Spanish walnut. Not only in the bedrooms, but in all rooms mosquito screens are installed at the windows, so that you should remain spared from the small plagues.
After a restful night you can start the day with breakfast. In addition, they can buy fresh rolls and baked goods every day from the bakery "Dreißig" which is located 200 m away.
Fresh and deliciously refreshed, nothing more stands in the way of an eventful day in the Spreewald: how about a boat trip through the picturesque landscape, but you can also discover the rivers yourself in a canoe. Swimming in the Spree lagoon, in the Tropical Islands or at one of the lakes in the area would also be an alternative. There is so much more to discover in the Spreewald, a visit to the tourist information office on the castle island in Lübben can provide you with inspiration.
Of course, you should also feel at home in your "temporary home". But please note a few small rules: The house itself and the terrace are non-smoking areas. If you are a smoker, we have a cosy smoking corner with seating area where you can indulge your vice. Please be considerate of your neighbours (the holiday home is a semi-detached house), should you want to celebrate parties during your holidays, then please look for another domicile.
But we also thought of a cosy barbecue evening: Next to the terrace we have a barbecue area, a charcoal grill is also available.
During a longer stay in your new home you can also wash your laundry in the existing washing machine and dry it in the tumble dryer. Treat yourself to a break from everyday life and use the Spreewaldhaus as your new "temporary home". From here you can explore the Spreewald and come home after an eventful day.
